Terms of service
Last updated October 16, 2026
These terms govern your use of scrapa.app. Using an API key means you accept them.
This is written in plain language for launch. Have it reviewed by counsel before you rely on it.
What the service is
scrapa.app is an HTTP API operated by OpenWings Automação Comercial Ltda. (CNPJ 63.852.648/0001-06), registered at Rua Padre João Wislinski, 441, Santa Cândida, Curitiba – PR, CEP 82630-494, Brazil. It reads a web page you name and returns it in the formats you asked for, and it can hand you a live browser session you drive yourself.
We fetch what you point us at. We do not choose the targets, and we do not decide whether you are allowed to read them. A page we read for you is kept only when you ask for it, and only for your account: a call with maxAge can be answered from a copy, and a batch's results stay readable for 24 hours. A page is never shared with another account, never sold and never used to train anything, and the privacy notice says how long each copy is kept before it is deleted.
Your account and your keys
You need an account and at least one API key. A key is a bearer credential: anyone holding it can spend your credits, so treat it like a password and revoke it in the console the moment it leaks.
Everything done with your keys is your responsibility, including calls made by an agent, a teammate or a job you forgot was running. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and the details you give us must be accurate.
Credits, plans and payment
Work is metered in credits at the rates published on the pricing page, which is generated from the same table the API prices with. A plan grants credits at the start of every billing month; unused plan credits do not roll over. Credits you buy in a pack are a separate balance, never expire, and are spent only after the month's grant is gone.
A page the site blocked and a URL our policy refused cost zero credits, unless your own browser.actions script ran in the page first. Any failure of ours costs zero credits either way, and every response reports its own cost. Paid plans renew monthly until you cancel, and cancelling stops the next renewal rather than refunding the current month. Each account pays in one currency (US dollars, Brazilian reais or euros), fixed at its first purchase. Prices exclude any tax you owe where you are.
What you may not do
The acceptable-use policy is part of these terms. In short: do not point this API at what the policy forbids, do not use it to collect personal data you have no basis to hold, do not resell raw proxy bandwidth, and do not try to reach anything on our network other than the API itself.
You are responsible for having the right to fetch what you fetch. That includes a site's own terms, its robots directives and any law that applies to the data on it. We do not review your targets and cannot give you that permission.
Availability
We run this on hardware we operate and we work to keep it up, but no plan carries a service-level agreement today. Maintenance, capacity limits and upstream failures can interrupt it.
We may change or retire features. A change that removes something you depend on will be announced by email to the address on the account before it takes effect, except where a security or legal problem requires acting immediately.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend a key, an account, or a single capability when the acceptable-use policy is broken, when an account threatens the service or the upstream providers it depends on, when payment fails, or when we are required to. Where the situation allows it we tell you first and say what would fix it.
You can close your account at any time from the console. Closing it stops future billing and starts the deletion described in the privacy notice; it does not refund credits already granted or purchased.
Liability
The service is provided as it is. We do not warrant that any particular page will be readable, that a site will not block us, or that a result is accurate or complete. The web decides that, not us.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the three months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms. A material change is announced by email at least fifteen days before it takes effect, and continuing to use the API after that date means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, and the courts of Curitiba have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any consumer right you have to sue where you live. Questions go to hello@scrapa.app.
